Career and Technology Education Allotment

Two funding elements determine a district's total Career and Technology Education (CTE) allotment.

School districts听are eligible to receive weighted听funding for eligible full-time equivalent (FTE) students听in approved CTE programs. Districts receive 10 to 47 percent more funding for CTE full-time equivalent students than for regular students per methodology below.

In addition to this weighted funding, school districts are also eligible to receive $50 for each student in average daily attendance enrolled in a 香港六合彩开奖结果2023-designated P-TECH (grades 9-12) or New Tech Network (grades 7-12) campus.

P-TECH campuses must be designated by 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 and listed on the 听website.听 Campuses report the students enrolled on the 香港六合彩开奖结果2023-designated P-TECH campus in TSDS PEIMS submissions 1 and 3 using the TSDS PEIMS indicator E1612. New Tech Network (NTN) campuses must be designated by 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 and listed on the 听website.听 Campuses report the students enrolled on the NTN campus in PEIMS submissions 1 and 3 using the PEIMS indicator E1647.

Methodology and Related Information

For each FTE student in average daily attendance in an approved CTE program in grades 7 through 12, a district is entitled to an annual allotment equal to the basic allotment, or, if applicable, the sum of the basic allotment and the allotment under the听, to which the district is entitled, multiplied by:

  • 1.1 for a FTE student in CTE courses not in an approved program of study;
  • 1.28 for a FTE student in levels one and two CTE courses in an approved program of study, as identified by the agency; and听
  • 1.47 for a FTE student in levels three and four CTE courses in an approved program of study, as identified by the agency.

Students in grades 7 through 12 are eligible for CTE contact hours when enrolled in a course from听19 TAC Chapter 127, Subchapter B听or听19 TAC Chapter 130听that grants high school credit.听听

State-approved CTE courses are listed in Section 4, Code Table C022 of TSDS TEDS, available at , and designated with an 鈥淗鈥 in the CTE column.
